Search & Rescue is the evangelism ministry of Calvary Chapel Hemet . We as believers have the responsibility to carry out "The Great Commission." We are living in a lost and dying world, which desperately needs to hear the life saving message of the Gospel. The church as a whole has neglected this responsibility and has just relegated itself to "teaching, fellowship the breaking of bread and prayers Acts 2:41 , while ignoring the broader context of the book of Acts that shows the early church was also publicly proclaiming the Gospel and then the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. We must be obedient to all the Lord has commanded.
